ਬੁਰੇ ਵਕਤ ਤੇ ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦੇਵੀਂ ਨਾ

ਬੁਰੇ ਵਕਤ ਤੇ ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦੇਵੀਂ ਨਾ  !
ਜੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਤੇਜ ਉਜਾਲਾ ਦੇਵੀਂ  ਨਾ  !

ਜੇ ਲੈਣਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਇਜ਼ਤ ਦੇਣੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਲੈ
ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਗਲੀ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਸਾਲਾ ਦੇਵੀਂ ਨਾ !

ਦੋ ਵਕਤ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਰਦਾ ਰਹੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ
ਹੱਥੋਂ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਖੋਹਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਦੇਵੀਂ ਨਾ !

ਚਾਰ ਲਾਵਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੰਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਫਰਜ਼ ਨਿਭਾਵੇ
ਜੋ ਧੀ ਜਿਉਂਦੀ ਸਾੜੇ ਐਸਾ ਘਰਵਾਲਾ ਦੇਵੀਂ ਨਾ !

Family of two days stayed with the bread

The daughter who does not live such a house, such a wife!
